See attached letter from USA Swimming Open Water Committee for steps to take to Sanction an open water race. Then visit the actual application form (attachment #2). Finally, a sample of a completed application form is provided (attachment #3).
Remember that the open water application must be accompanied by a Southern California Swimming Sanction application (attachment #4) and a $25 fee.
