For your current Air Quality Index number: go to Maps and Data on the tool bar, enter your zip code or city.

Check the Ozone and Particle color levels and monitor regularly. 

Over 100:  Sensitive At Risk Individuals may show respiratory signs or symptoms. Stop activity 

Level 150+: If Athletes in practice show respiratory problems, remove them from practice.  Adjust practice intensity and demand.    

*Over 180 - coaches and team admins need to stop all outdoor practices. Do not wait for the Aquatic facility to make a decision to close.          Go indoors if option.

If swimmers show respiratory issues or distress (coughing, difficulty breathing, headache, dizziness), stop practice immediately.

If you smell smoke, check the Air Quality Index site immediately to make the safe decision for you athletes.

If ash is falling in the air, stop practice immediately.
