Sandpiper Swimmers set 3 FINA World Junior Records at FINA World Cup Meet in Indianapolis

Bella Sims and Katie Grimes of Sandpiper set three World Junior Records at the FINA World Cup stop in Indianapolis this past weekend. The meet was conducted as a short course meters competition.

Katie Grimes set her record in the 1500 Meter Freestyle while swimming the event short course for the first time in her career.

Bella Sims was on fire on Friday night setting her first World Junior Record in the 200 Meter Freestyle and then setting her second World Junior Record just 12 minutes later in the 100 Meter Backstroke.

Congratulations to Katie and Bella for the accomplishments along with Coach Ron Aitken of Sandpiper!
