Part-Time Swimming Instructor/coach
Los Angeles, CA – Kswim at Griffin Club LA
Kswim offers swim instruction for ages 9 months and above to 200 swimmers and we are seeking part-time, in-water, swimming instructors for our lessons program.
Responsibilities:
The swim instructor is responsible to help all members to succeed, develop and strengthen physical and social skills through group swim lessons, as well as being responsible for the safety of swimmers and following Kswim guidelines.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 3:00-7:00; Saturdays 9 - 1
Opportunities:
Professional development through clinics as well as opportunities to grow into coaching and management positions at a new state of the art Kswim facility opening in January 2019.
Qualifications:
A successful applicant must have:
Legal right to work in the United States. We are looking for reliable, responsible individual with high energy and enthusiasm. A successful applicant must have enthusiasm for the sport. Applicant should hold valid Lifeguard/CPR certification; prior club coaching experience with current USA coaching credentials is a plus. Applicant must demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively and work well with others as well as connect with children and/ or infants.
Kswim seeks hard-working coaches who are interested in developing a competitively balanced athlete with emphasis on stroke technique, while effectively training, motivating and supporting swimmers of various abilities from infants through pre-teens.
Compensation:
Competitive Salary ($19.50-22.50/hr)
