Socal Aquatics is seeking experienced Age Group Level Coach(s). The applicants will transition our athletes from age group swimming into senior level swimming. He/she will also be expected to promote Socal’s mission: “Training for life beyond the pool.”

Socal Aquatics is a non-profit, board-governed, coach-directed swim team operating in Southern California Swimming’s Orange Committee. We swim year-round at Tustin High School.  USA Swimming has awarded us the Silver level in the Club Excellence program.  We have a rich swimming tradition of over 50 years and have produced JO, Sectional, National, NCAA, International and Olympic Champions.

Job requirements:

The Age Group Coach(S) will work directly with the Age Group head coach and be expected to implement the overall team philosophy on coaching, swimmer development, and team building.   The coach will be expected to coach every weekday afternoon/evening and weekend swim meets. 

Other requirements:

At least two (2) years of swim coaching experience at club or high school level.  Conduct quarterly parent meetings to educate and inform parents of important information pertaining to their swimmers’ group

Attend coaches’ meetings.  Attend all swim meets that the coach’s groups swim in, and assist in any travel meets.  Provide a resume with a minimum of two (2) professional references

Compensation:
The pay will be based on experience and accomplishments.
