Team: Rocket Fish Swimming (RFSH)

Hiring: Head Age Group Coach

Location: Belmont Plaza Pool, Long Beach, 90803

RFSH is hiring a person to teach & coach beginning, intermediate & advanced swimmers at pool practices & swim meets.

Days: Three to Four afternoons per week (M-Th)

School-Year Afternoons: 4:15 to 7:00 pm

Summer Mornings: 7:00am to 10:00am

Ideal Candidates:

A Natural Love of the Water: Loves swimming

A Natural Teacher: Loves teaching & coaching

Loves Life: Enjoys people of all ages & the ocean

Smiles: Is friendly, thoughtful & professional

Attitude: Calm, enthusiastic, athletic, and positive

Swimmer: Swam competitively ~ all four strokes

Experienced: Taught / coached swimming 2 - 4 years or more

Leadership: Prior leadership positions both in and out of swimming

USA Swim Certified: Prior certification or willing to get certified in 3 months.

Job perks: Coaching on the beach in beautiful Long Beach. A free membership to our morning master's swim program. Coaching in a caring and thoughtful "Character First" environment, developing age group swimmers.
