Southern California Loads Open Water Teams

Based on the National 10K and 5K races held at Lake Castaic in June, Southern California swimmers and coaches will be a big presence in this summer's international Open Water events.

The PanPac Team headed to Australia's Gold Coast includes Haley Anderson (TROJ) and Jordan Wilomovsky (TSM) along with Catherine Vogt (TROJ) as head women's coach and Dave Kelsheimer (TSM) as head men's coach.

The Junior PanPac team will travel to Maui,Hawaii with Lindsay Clary (now at Ohio State), Brendan Casey (TSM) and Logan Houck (SAND) competing on August 31.

FINA World Junior Championships are scheduled for Elat, Israel, August 29-30, with Simon Lamar (FAST), Erin Emery (SAND) and Jarad Kaskawal all competing.  Brian Brown (FAST) is head coach for the 14-16 competitors joined by Ron Aitken (SAND) as head coach for the 17-18 team.
