2027 Pac Coast All-Star Team

SCS will once again participate in the Pacific Coast All-Star Competition in January 2027. This year the participating LSCs are SCS, Pacific, Sierra Nevada and Pacific Northwest. The meet will be held on January 9 & 10, 2027 at Snohomish Aquatic Center - 516 Maple Ave., Snohomish, WA 98290. The meet will start at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 9th with Timed Finals format and resume on Sunday, January 10th at 10:00am. Team SCS will assemble the morning of January 9th in Irvine for team orientation/practice and fly to Seattle from John Wayne airport following practice. The team will return to John Wayne airport the evening of January 10th. This is a “Team Travel” event which means all participants are required to travel as a team under the supervision of the coaching staff. Lodging will be arranged for the team as well as ground transportation in Washington. Each LSC is responsible for fielding their own team which will consist of 8 individuals in the following age group categories: 11/12 Girls, 11/12 Boys, 13/14 Girls & 13/14 Boys a total team athlete delegation of 32 swimmers.

Team Selection: Unlike previous years, this year there will be no application process for this competition. Instead it will involve selection using the SWIMS database and invitations sent to selected swimmers. Following the conclusion of the Legends of Coaching Meet at La Mirada on November 5-8, SCS will run a report that will rank swimmers (based on their ages as of 1/9/2027) using their Top 4 events from the Power Point system. The top 6 ranked swimmers in each age group category will be invited to participate with a short window of acceptance before we move to the next swimmer. The remaining 2 spots in each age category will be based on their Power Point rankings but ensuring that we have all strokes covered within the age group category. Those individuals will also be extending invitations to join the SCS team for the meet. The process will continue until we have 8 confirmed swimmers in each age group category. Swimmers will be asked to commit to their participation to ensure that we have a full team.
