MEGA LSC Swim Festival

SCS is hosting a new multi-LSC event in August 2026 at Mission Viejo in conjunction with the Pan Pacific Championships being held in Irvine, CA. The dates of the event are August 12-15, 2026. The event is being called the MEGA LSC Swim Festival that incorporates a camp/clinic/competition with a chance to support Team USA in a the major international swimming competition in 2026. The Festival will involve up to 32 swimmers and 5 coaches from each participating LSC to be invited to participate. Each LSC can have up to 8 swimmers in each of the following categories: 13-14 Girls, 13-14 Boys, 15-16 Girls and 15-16 Boys. Below is a link to a PowerPoint that outlines the plans for the Festival along with a draft of the schedule for the SCS participants. More details will follow once we confirm the list of SCS athletes following invitations being sent out the week of the SCS Elite Age Group Champs meet via email to the parents. SCS Coaches for this team will also receive an invite via email to confirm their acceptance to serve on the staff. Athletes will be invited using a selector tool that incorporates examining the inprovement rate of athletes over the past two years for at least three events plus athletes who have achieved at least two AAAA times.
